What to tell the vet2, 1

Ohio State’s Veterinary Medical Center says to explain the symptoms you notice. AAHA’s specialist guide says to bring notes on warning signs and on changes in behavior or condition. A photo or short video helps when that change may not happen in the exam room.

  • What you saw or heard, in plain words.
  • How that differs from normal for this pet.
  • A photo or short video, when the change may not happen in the room.

One example

Nanook is a fictional husky. Read it once before you go. Leave a line blank when you do not know it.

What to say about Nanook

What you saw. He left food and vomited once.

Different from normal. He usually finishes dinner and sleeps through the night.

Photo or video. None. The vomit was cleaned up.

Dates and what to pack

Write the dates and the order on the pet symptom timeline.

Pack medication labels and clinic records with the vet appointment checklist.

Write it down

Paper is enough. CovePet keeps the same notes for any pet and turns them into one page for the visit. Your iPhone reads the sentence. Nothing is sent to an AI service, and nothing saves until you review it.

CovePet keeps what you noticed so you can tell the vet. It does not diagnose.

Coming to iPhone. The App Store listing is not up yet.
