Refund policy

This policy explains how trials, cancellations, renewals, billing errors, and refund requests are handled for CovePet subscriptions.

Last updated July 26, 2026

1. Trial and first charge

When a trial is available, the provider shows its duration and eligibility before purchase. You are not charged the subscription price during a free trial. Unless you cancel before it ends, your provider charges the CovePet plan and interval shown at checkout. Stripe bills web purchases, and Apple bills purchases made in the iPhone or iPad app.

2. Cancel before renewal

CovePet settings opens the management flow for the provider that bills your plan. Cancel before the next charge to stop future renewal. Access normally continues through the current trial or paid billing period. Canceling does not automatically refund a completed charge.

3. Refund eligibility

Subscription charges are generally non-refundable once a paid billing period begins. CovePet will provide a refund when required by applicable law. CovePet can review Stripe billing errors. Apple controls App Store charges and refund decisions, so App Store refund requests must be submitted to Apple.

4. Account deletion

Deleting your account immediately ends CovePet access and cancels active Stripe subscriptions connected to that account. It does not cancel an App Store subscription; manage that subscription with Apple before deleting if you do not want it to renew. Account deletion does not create a refund for unused time unless a refund is required by law.

5. Requesting a billing review

Email hello@covepet.com from the address on your CovePet account for a Stripe billing review. Include the charge date, amount, and a short explanation. For an App Store charge, use Apple’s purchase history and refund request process. Do not send a full card number, security code, password, App Store receipt, or other payment credentials by email.

Subscription and cancellation terms are also covered in the Terms of Service.
