If you join the waitlist, Covepet collects your email address, the optional pet type you select, and limited attribution data so the site can confirm your signup, send launch-related email, prevent spam, and understand where interest is coming from. Covepet does not sell personal data or use waitlist data for ad targeting.
1. What this site collects
- Email address when you join the waitlist
- Optional pet type if you choose to provide it
- Source page and UTM parameters so we can understand where a signup came from
- Basic technical and server logs generated by the site and its hosting providers
- Basic website analytics and web-vitals data, if analytics are enabled
This waitlist site does not collect pet medical records, veterinary documents, or account profile data.
2. How the data is used
- Process and confirm waitlist signups
- Send a signup confirmation and future launch-related email
- Prevent spam and abuse
- Measure demand and understand which channels are working
- Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website
3. Service providers
Covepet uses third-party services to run the website and waitlist. As of March 7, 2026, that includes:
- Managed hosting and CDN infrastructure for the website
- Supabase to store waitlist submissions
- Resend to send waitlist email, if email delivery is enabled
- Google Analytics, if analytics is enabled
Those providers process data only to the extent needed to run the site and waitlist.
4. Retention and your choices
- Waitlist data is kept only as long as it is needed to operate the launch list, respond to support requests, and maintain reasonable business records
- You can ask to access, correct, or delete your waitlist data at any time
- You can also ask to stop receiving Covepet launch-related email

- Share waitlist submissions with data brokers
- Collect pet health records on this waitlist website
6. Future app data
If and when the Covepet app begins collecting account data, pet records, or subscription information, this policy will be updated before those flows become generally available.
When you use Covepet's AI-assisted document scan feature, Covepet sends the uploaded document and related extracted text to OpenAI's GPT-based service to identify dates, vaccines, medications, and visit details. You should review those results before relying on them or saving them.
